Day 1: Arrival and First Glimpses

• Afternoon: Upon landing, check into your lodge and have a hearty lunch. Prepare for your first evening game drive in the Mara, which provides an excellent opportunity to immediately start spotting wildlife including lions, elephants, and if you’re lucky, a glimpse of the migration.
• Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner and relax under the stars, listening to the sounds of the wild.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive

• Morning to Evening: After an early breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. This day is dedicated to tracking the great wildebeest migration. Witness the dramatic river crossings and observe the interactions between predators and prey. Your guide will help you find the best spots for action, explaining the behaviors and survival tactics of the various species you encounter.
• Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner. Spend the evening at leisure or attend a talk on Maasai Mara’s ecosystem and conservation efforts.

Day 3: Exploring More and Cultural Insight

• Morning: Start with an early morning game drive to catch the animals in their most active phase. Focus on seeking out animals you may have missed in the previous days.
• Afternoon: After lunch at the lodge, visit a nearby Maasai village. Engage with the Maasai people, learn about their traditional lifestyles, dances, and how they coexist with the wildlife.
• Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner and perhaps enjoy a sunset viewing experience from a prime location within the reserve.

Day 4: Discovering Predators and Night Safari

• Morning: Go on a morning game drive with a focus on finding big cats and learning about their behavior from your guide.
• Afternoon: Post-lunch, take some time to relax at the lodge, enjoying its amenities or simply soaking in the natural beauty around you.
• Evening: Embark on a night game drive—a unique opportunity to observe nocturnal animals and the night-time behaviors of predators. Experience the different sounds and sights of the Mara under the cover of darkness.
• Late Evening: Return to the lodge for a late dinner.

Day 5: Sunrise and Departure

• Early Morning: Wake up before dawn for a final game drive, capturing the beautiful sunrise over the savannah and a last look at the Mara’s wildlife.
• Mid-Morning: Return to the lodge for breakfast and then check out.
• Late Morning: Fly back to Nairobi, reflecting on the memorable experiences from your safari.
