Day 1: Departure to Lake Nakuru

• Morning: Set off early from Nairobi by road. The journey to Lake Nakuru is scenic, with views of the Great Rift Valley and its escarpments.
• Afternoon: Arrive at your lodge within Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch. After settling in, start your safari experience with an afternoon game drive. Focus on finding the park’s renowned rhinos and the vast flocks of flamingos lining the shores of the lake.
• Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner. Enjoy the tranquility of the park in the evening, perhaps catching sight of nocturnal animals beginning their nightly routines.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive

• Morning to Evening: After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive across the park. Your guide will help you explore diverse habitats, from lake shores lined with flamingos to forested areas where leopards might lurk. Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the park’s viewpoints, overlooking the lake and its birdlife.
• Evening: After a day full of sightings, return to your lodge for relaxation and dinner. Optional evening talks on wildlife conservation or a guided nature walk can be arranged for those interested.

Day 3: Nature Walk and Return to Nairobi

• Early Morning: Participate in a guided nature walk around the lodge or a nearby safe area. This is a chance to learn about the smaller flora and fauna of the park, as well as to enjoy the peaceful morning atmosphere.
• Mid-Morning: Return to the lodge for breakfast, then pack up and check out.
• Late Morning: Begin your drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the early afternoon with plenty of memories from the unique ecosystems and wildlife encounters at Lake Nakuru.
